The flat above Hugh Grant’s famous travel bookshop in Notting Hill is up for sale for a staggering £2.4million.
The Portobello Road shop, famous for its historic antiques market, provided the exterior for the Travel Book Co. in the hit 1999 film.
The posh three-bed property that sits directly upstairs is now for sale – at a price that’s likely a little outside the fictional bookseller’s budget.

It was a box office hit and its locations across London are still visited by fans today, with tours of the store and other locations being offered.

Hermione Russell of Sellers Russell Simpson said: “This beautiful Portobello Road apartment offers a buyer the chance to own a piece of cinematic history.
“The beautiful triplex apartment really is a unique selling opportunity in addition to its iconic location.
‘Adjacent to this remarkable property is situated on one of the most famous streets in the area, right in the center of Notting Hill with a range of shops, bars, restaurants and the market nearby.’
Although the exterior of the building was used in the film, interior scenes were shot at a private studio.

The building was formerly the Nicholls Antique Arcade and later a furniture store called Gong.
It’s now a gift shop but retains the iconic blue facade that has remained in place since filming began in 1998.
The store hosted a variety of important scenes, including Roberts’ character’s famous love confession.
