She then admitted that while she had no plans to reveal anything, she did confirm that she was expecting a boy and expressed her hopes that his future would improve as a result of the campaign.

Emily said, “I didn't want to say this, but I'm going to say it. 'I'm having a boy.'

She added: “I want him to be part of real positive change and for him to grow up knowing he can talk openly about these things and enjoy his life. “I want him to be on the right side of history .'

Emily is supporting a campaign by Right To Equality to tighten sexual consent laws.

Affirmative consent means: “Anything other than a clear, uncoerced and informed confirmation of consent such as “Yes” cannot be considered consent in the eyes of the law.”

This means that consent must be a clear declaration of intent and not the absence of a “no”. It can be revoked at any time and may not be obtained through threats, violence or coercion.
