Les Boys – So Be It, written by Richard Gaudreau and Cathleen Rouleau, received scriptwriting assistance from SODEC. Of course, not all announced film projects will necessarily go into production, but this is the first step.

Note that of the twelve feature-length screenplays, eight are written by women. Nine if we count Cathleen Rouleau's participation in Les Boys. Other scenarios funded by SODEC include Bijoux by Miryam Bouchard and Marie-Ève Larivière, Death Metal by Geneviève Albert, Marie-Andrée Gill and Kim O'Bomsawin and Saint-Lola! by Schelby Jean-Baptiste.

As for documentaries, in addition to the documentary project “Run de Lait”, which focuses on the dairy and cheese industry in Quebec and whose author Justin Laramée will write the screenplay, there is “The Gerald Bull Enigma” by Mathieu Fournier, about the murder of this Canadian engineer mentioned specialized in ballistics who became an arms dealer. Let’s also mention “The Origins of Music” by Isabelle Lavigne.
