Reese Witherspoon jumped into the role on Tuesday night in New York City to film some dramatic late night scenes for The Morning Show series.
The talented actress, 46, stunned in a long blue coat while keeping a serious expression on her face as she portrayed her role as Bradley Jackson on set.
The Apple TV+ series recently began filming for its third season last August, after receiving consistent critical acclaim since the show premiered in 2019.

The naturally blonde actress was spotted filming a few short scenes on a damp street wearing a long, bright blue coat that hit her knees.
She carried a baby blue handbag in the crook of her arm and slipped on a pair of silver heels to complete her ensemble.
Reese’s blonde hair was parted in the middle and fell just past her shoulders.
While filming a scene, the star could be seen holding a phone to her ear with a dramatic expression on her face.

During the night, Reese was seen filming an additional scene in which she looked at a miniature billboard that switched from her and Jennifer Aniston’s characters.
The Friends alum was also spotted filming some scenes for the third season on Monday afternoon.
The Morning Show stars other talented actors like Billy Crudup and Julianna Marguiles. Mad Men alumnus Jon Hamm will be a regular on the award-winning show.
The show’s premise, according to IMDB, is “the lives of the people who are helping America wake up and explore the unique challenges faced by the men and women who perform this daily television ritual.”
The series is also based on the novel Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV written by Brian Stelter.

When Reese spoke about taking a leading role on The Morning Show, Reese revealed to Variety that real-life events and headlines will be portrayed on the show.
“Harvey Weinstein happened, and all these other things happened, and Matt Lauer came, and we had to look everywhere because the whole world changed,” she explained to the publication.
During an interview with Extra in early September, Reese explained that in the upcoming season, her character will experience “more incredible stories about love and life and what it’s like to be in the media these days.”
The Sweet Home Alabama actress and Jennifer are not only the stars of the show, they are also producers of the series.
“You and I have known each other forever,” Reese said of her co-star. “So working and collaborating with one of your friends and reading the scripts together and coming up with ideas together is just a dream come true.”

Since its first premiere in 2019, The Morning Show has received critical acclaim and has been nominated for numerous awards and accolades.
Reese was nominated for both a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for Best Actress in a Series.
“I am continually blown away by the writing style and how accurately it reflects today’s world of journalism. It’s scary how accurate it is,” the actress told Variety.
Filming for the third season recently began last August, and a set release date has yet to be confirmed.
