Ryan Garcia was called a “f*****gp***y” and seemingly challenged to a fight by ex-UFC star Sean Strickland on Monday after he broke his silence on a disturbing video posted to his social media -Media accounts appeared.
Speaking about the chilling clip that claimed he was dead, Garcia said in a video posted to X on Monday that he doesn't have his phone, can't access his Instagram and is being “taken advantage of.”
But Strickland didn't want to hear Garcia talk about the situation and replied, “God, I hate famous people.” Brother, you're fucking rich… There are kids in salt mines, kids dying of cancer and another day on this one Earth begging and you're having a nervous breakdown on social media… You f*****gp****…'
To which Garcia replied, “If you knew God, you wouldn't hate anyone.” You went ahead and took advantage of a streamer who was someone with no no [experience]',' which was a reference to his aggressive sparring session with streamer Sneako.
“And you gave him a concussion.” “You think you're doing a service, but in reality you're just a tyrant coming in the name of a hero.”

A six-second clip with alarming captions was posted on his X and Instagram accounts
Then Strickland shot back: “Are you getting what you want?” Have enough people told you they love you??? Feel better??? You get enough attention lmao!!! Next time just be a man and motherfuckin' don't hit post haha damn woman…”
“I lost brain cells reading that!” Garcia then said. “Please show me how serious you are about handling this like men!! But let’s be honest, no internet stuff.”
Strickland then appeared to challenge Garcia to a fight, writing, “Las Vegas my man…roll through…”

“We got him, boys. RYAN GARCIA RIP B***H. 666,” it said above the clip, “Video is timed exactly 666. “WE TOLD YOU WE'RE COMING.” A stream of random letters followed.
Garcia's ex-wife, Andrea Celina, confirmed that Garcia was alive but said he was “not doing well.”
“3. MARCH, SUNDAY 2024, we cut RG's throat and pierced him in a basket. No one will find him, BSABJANANANANANAJQKA ANAIQNANSBSNANABA A SNSNSNWKWNA S ANANSNSN SATAN WHO IS NOW SITTING AT THE TOP.” 666,” reads the message accompanying the X post.
However, Garcia insisted on Monday that he was fine.
“Personally, I just want to send a video to the people who love me and my fans, to the family that's worried that I'm okay. “I'm not dead, I believe in Jesus, all of that [rumors] are lies.'
Garcia's ex-wife and mother of his child, Andrea Celina, confirmed that she had spoken to him, but was less positive about the boxer's current condition.
“If all my followers who are believers could please pray for Ryan,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
“We are not together and I have been in contact with him and he may see well, but that is not the case.” I know in my heart that he is severely oppressed. This isn't a troll, I'm seriously worried and so are all his family members. We are not part of it and we want him to get better, but this IS REAL. Pray for him.'
His father, Henry Garcia, also gave a quick update when a fan commented on one of his past Instagram posts.
The coach assured them that his son was “just trolling,” but hinted that there was more going on behind the scenes.

“Yes Ryan is fine, he's just trolling the wrong way,” he wrote in response to the fan's question about whether Garcia Jr. was okay. “No, there’s more to it than that. Trust,” Henry added later.
Meanwhile, Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn admitted he was becoming increasingly concerned about Garcia's behavior.
Hearn said: “If I'm honest, he just didn't seem like himself at the press conference.”
“I think I've been around a lot of people and fighters who have had problems, and I've never been wrong when I thought to myself, 'This person has a problem here'.”
Garcia will face Devin Haney on April 20.
