Came from one interview From Workremarked one stroller Escape to the freeway. He stopped him before he reached the roadway and saved the child. It’s the story of Ron Nessman, who got his first job in years for his gesture. Finally hired after years of unemployment and homelessness. “I haven’t even had time to think about it,” Nessman told local news station KOVR-TV.
Providing drugs to nephew in prison: aunt reported. Her: “I wanted to help the boy, he was discouraged”
The job hunt
Ron had been homeless for about eight years and had been living with his sister for a few months. It took work. So he went to a local restaurant, Applebee’s in San Bernardino County, where a position had opened up. After the interview, he was waiting outside on a bench when he saw a scene that caught his attention. A woman who stopped in the driveway had loaded the baby into the stroller when a strong wind blew it away. So she chased after him, but fell and struggled to get up as she watched helplessly as the child rolled toward a street full of motorists.
Video
Nessman jumps off the bench, runs to the stroller and stops it. Everything was captured by surveillance cameras. “Obviously I couldn’t have lived with myself if I hadn’t done anything. I’m just glad I found out and was there.” Nessman told California news network KNSD that his distant relatives (in Florida and Missouri) saw the footage.
homeless life
Why was he homeless? He was deeply moved by the grief over the unexpected death of his girlfriend. “It came on suddenly and I didn’t want to do anything,” Nessman said.
The recruitment
The former big truck driver said he recently moved to the San Bernardino area to see his family again. KNSD reported on May 4 that Applebee subsequently hired Nessman. She has reportedly received other job offers as well. “I appreciate the opportunity Applebee’s gave me,” Nessman told KNSD. “I am really happy”.
