Selena Gomez has a nice surprise for her fans.

The singer and actress announced on Instagram on Thursday that she will be releasing her first song of the year later this month.
“Wait until I turn on my love,” the 31-year-old wrote in the caption, appearing to quote the song’s lyrics. He added: “Get ready for my new song Love On, releasing on February 22nd.”
As part of the announcement, the artist shared the single's cover art, which features the former Disney star leaning against a window frame overlooking the ocean, wearing a luxurious white bathrobe, a towel wrapped around her hair and sunglasses. This new song will be Selena Gomez's first since releasing single Soon on August 25 last year. This song was produced by her friend Benny Blanco and peaked at number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Although she isn't revealing any details yet, “Love On” and “Single Soon” are expected to be featured on her fourth studio album – the release date of which has not yet been announced. Selena Gomez has already hinted that she is working on this new music project and that it could be her last.
“I feel like I still have an album in me, but I would probably choose acting,” the “Only Murders in the Building” star revealed during an appearance on the SmartLess podcast in January.
“I wanted to be an actress, I never intended to be a singer full-time, but it seems that hobby turned into something else. I don't think I'm the best singer, but I know how to tell stories and I like being able to make songs,” Selena Gomez added.
