Spanish businessman Vicente Escrig is suing his exwife Simaria, Simone’s sister, after the singer revealed intimate details of her past married life with him during the interview he gave to the owner of this column. The case, which is subject to court secrecy, opened on July 7 and the first statement has already been published.
The LeoDias column, which had exclusive access to the lawsuit, noted that the businessman is seeking moral damages and a public recantation from the mother of his children. Vicente and his lawyers allege that Simaria publicly disclosed the facts about the relationship’s end, as well as confidential data from other lawsuits he had filed against them.

The compatriot’s ex is demanding that the case be dealt with urgently and demands that Simaria be banned from giving his name and speaking about the lawsuits they are fighting.
Vicente’s defense also claims that Simone’s sister is the one who shared with the LeoDias column and with influencer Hugo Gloss the lawsuits Escrig opened against her.
The judge in charge of the case ordered her not to speak further about the businessman pending the final decision in the case.
“The defendant’s right to disclose information about her private life to her fans and the public and to freely reveal her thoughts must be restricted when it interferes with the legal sphere of third parties, especially when the reflexes are negative to disqualify the author, as in the title case. It is the author’s constitutional right to inviolability of his privacy and private life and there is a risk of harm since disclosure of the end of the relationship, as explored by the defendant, may be the subject of inappropriate comments by the author,” said the judge, who will judge the case.
Although Simaria was initially partially banned from naming Vicente, she did not have to pay her exhusband a fine.
The LeoDias column reached out to Vicente Escrig and Simaria for advice, but received no response by the end of this article. The place remains open.
