Simon Cowell appeared to be in a cheerful mood as he met his Britain's Got Talent costars Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli at the London Palladium on Wednesday.
The 64-year-old music mogul was greeted by fans as he arrived at the theater to open the first day of live auditions for the ITV talent competition.
He cut a casual figure in a black long-sleeved T-shirt and dark blue trousers, while looking comfortable in dark trainers.
Simon framed his face with his signature aviator sunglasses and carried his essentials in two brown and black laptop-style bags.
He was joined by fellow judge Amanda, 52, who looked effortlessly stylish in white trousers and a blue ruffled blouse.

The release date for the upcoming 17th season of Britain's Got Talent has not yet been set.
While UK auditions have just begun, Simon has been appearing on new spin-off show America's Got Talent: Fantasy League in recent days.
In the new show, the judges coach all-star acts from across the Got Talent franchise, with the winner receiving a grand prize of $250,000 and their coach also being named champion.
And on Monday's episode, Simon hit his Golden Buzzer for the Sainted Trap Choir after their incredible cover of Prince's Purple Rain.
The mentor had worked with the Charlotte, North Carolina group to get them the coveted permission to sing Purple Rain.
Luckily, the night before their performance, they finally learned that Prince's estate had made an exception and given them permission to perform Purple Rain.
The group impressed the judges with their performance of the iconic song and received a standing ovation for the number.
“Mic drop,” said host Terry Crews, while Howie Mandel added: “It was amazing!” and Mel B gushed that they were “brilliant.”
“I’ve connected with you since the first audition,” Simon said. “Then we talked on the phone and I said, what would you think about singing my favorite song of all time, Purple Rain? I just heard that scream.

The group received a standing ovation from the judges as they really impressed with their cover of Prince's 'Purple Rain', sending them straight to the finals
“And I thought, 'That's a yes.' I think Prince is the greatest artist of all time. And you said it would be fine. That wasn't it. It was amazing.'
Simon said he hoped the moment would change their lives before getting up and hitting the Golden Buzzer, sending them straight to the final.
Golden confetti rained down around them as they hugged, seeming completely overwhelmed by the occasion.
In the spin-off show, the judges act as mentors for hand-picked acts and can use their Golden Buzzer to either advance one of their own acts to the finals or steal an act from another coach and promote them to the finals at the same time. Each of the participants competes for the grand prize of $250,000.
