Sister Wives star Meri Brown has broken her silence following the devastating news of Kody and Janelle's son Garrison Brown's suicide, telling fans he “will be missed.”
Garrison, 25, was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his home in Flagstaff, Arizona, on Tuesday by his younger brother Gabe, 22.
Meri, 53, took to Instagram on Tuesday evening and shared the same two photos of Garrison that Janelle posted, writing alongside them: “Our family is deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown.”

Meri continued, “We ask that you respect our privacy during this time and join us in honoring his memory,” before adding, “Garrison, you are loved and missed!” followed by two blue heart emojis.
The reality TV star, who announced her split from Garrison's father Kody in December 2022, was flooded with comments from her 968,000 followers – with some people even telling her to “turn her off” because hurtful messages were left.
“PLEASE TURN OFF THE COMMENTS” People don’t know how to respect privacy with their hateful opinions. May this sweet young man rest in peace. “Condolences to all family members,” one person wrote.
Another said: “My heart is broken for all of you and for Janelle, no mother should have to feel this pain,” and a third wrote: “Meri, I'm so sorry for your loss.” May peace come to you and your family. I feel for you.'
A fourth fan commented: “No parent should have to bury their child.” I'm so sorry for all his loved ones. “You all will be in my prayers,” while someone else referenced Garrison's feud with his father Kody.
“I hope his father has made peace with him and the family. 'Rest, Garrison,' one said, while another person claimed, 'Kody has not made peace with his son.' Sad.”
Back in February 2022, Kody said on an episode of Sister Wives that he, Garrison and his other son Gabe were “not being good” and “not talking” as they argued with him over what they said were onerous protocols he was in the midst of of the coronavirus pandemic.
“It's changed everything for everyone and they want everything to stay the same – they have to realize that they should go out with this girlfriend, that's fine, but you have to move out of the house so I can be home” , he said.
In her own Instagram tribute, Janelle said of her late son: “He was a bright spot in the lives of everyone who knew him.”

Garrison had adopted a third cat just five days before his suicide and showed off his new pet on Instagram last week
In an episode of the TLC series chronicling tensions in the family, Janelle said in a confessional interview, according to People, that she felt like Garrison “just seems angry or sadder, like he's not as cheerful as he was.” earlier.”' amid family dispute over pandemic precautions.
