Siva also spoke about how special it would be for Tom’s children to see their father back on screen.

“It’s about creating more positive memories. To me they are like my niece and nephew. You want to make beautiful memories with them. I would love to have her downstairs to hear our song maybe we’ll see her daddy on screen again,” he told The Mirror.

Siva added that Tom is his “guide” to turn to when times are tough and claims he always feels his presence.

And the singer recently admitted he needed his boyfriend more than ever after battling a viral chest infection to survive last weekend’s skate-off on the ITV1 show.

Lord Siva said, “If I come into a difficult situation, I’m really down or in a difficult position, I will say, ‘What would Tom do?'”. “I’m getting the answer I need. I use that as my mission statement.’

The interview comes before Siva claimed he was preparing for a new phase of grief as he and Tom’s closest friends prepare to mark the one year anniversary of his death.

The star said: “It’s crazy to me that it’s been a year, feels like it’s only been a few months. I’m still processing and grieving at times.

“As a band we have not yet discussed the anniversary, but personally I will be lighting a candle and devoting more energy to raising awareness of brain cancer throughout March.”

Tom lost his life in March last year after a year and a half battle with stage four glioblastoma brain cancer.

And ahead of his Siva’s first show with partner Klabera, Siva choked back tears and said: “I think I’m still grieving,” before revealing his friend’s “courage” inspired him to take part in the ITV show.

In the candid confession, he admitted, “When I think about the past, I think about Tom, Tom last year…” before breaking off emotionally.

Before I add: “I think I’m still grieving. I testify to his courage as he battled his illness and it was so inspiring.

As he spoke, a snap of him and his late pal from their time together in the chart-topping band was shown.
