Snoop Dogg's daughter Cori Broadus says she suffered from illness "severe stroke" at 24 years old

(CNN) – Legendary rapper Snoop Dogg's youngest daughter has revealed that she has suffered a “severe stroke.”

Cori Broadus, 24, posted about her health crisis on her verified Instagram account on Thursday.

“This morning I had a massive stroke,” she wrote in the post, which included two teary-eyed emojis. “I started crying when they told me,” he added.

Another photo showed Broadus covered up and wearing a mask with the caption: “Since I'm only 24 years old, what have I done in my past to deserve all this?”

She is the only daughter of Snoop Dogg and his wife Shante Broadus and CEO of the beauty company Choc Factory.

In the past, the younger Broadus has spoken openly about being diagnosed with lupus at the age of six.

“I felt helpless,” Snoop told People magazine in 2010 when he discovered his daughter's illness. “No power, no friends.”

“Nobody could tell me what was going on,” his wife said of her frustration after their daughter was diagnosed. “They took tons of blood and said it contained cells from an old person. They gave him all kinds.” [medicamentos]. But things went downhill for her.

Cori Broadus said in an interview with People last year that she was taking a new, holistic approach to her illness.

“I stopped taking all my medications about five months ago. I just do everything natural, all kinds of herbs, sea moss, teas,” she said. “I started exercising and drinking a lot of water. Now I think my body is saying, OK, this is the new program and it’s getting used to it.”

Lupus is an autoimmune disease in which the body's immune system attacks healthy cells, causing pain, fever, skin rashes, organ damage and other symptoms.
