The Byron Bay influencer was left shaken after violent thugs stole his diamond engagement ring

Byron Bay influencer Jade Kevin Foster has recalled the horrifying moment when a group of thugs stole his diamond engagement ring after a night out in Brisbane.

Foster, best known for starring on Netflix reality show Byron Baes, was targeted on June 15 but has only now found the strength to publicly discuss his harrowing experience.

Foster spoke exclusively to Chron Australia this week about how he was at a promotional event at a nightclub in Brisbane with a pal when a group of men began stalking him.

“I noticed a group of three men outside my VIP booth at the event. They drank pretty slowly and stared at me but didn’t think about it too much,” Foster recalled.

Unfortunately, the star had unintentionally made it easy for men to find him by posting his location on Instagram.

“I have never had to doubt or question myself before posting on my social media to tell fans where I will be or where I am going as I have only ever had positive encounters from followers who have come to my location to meet me. ‘ he wailed.

Foster left the club alone at 4 a.m. and jumped into an Uber.

Little did he know he was being followed by the very men eyeing him at the club.

“As I was being escorted home and walking inside, the same three men — now in different colored hoodies and sweaters — came at me and threw me against my concrete wall next to my garage,” he recalled.

“The ringleader held his hand tightly over my mouth and told me to be quiet while a second man grabbed my hand and stole my engagement ring.”

Foster’s fiancé, influencer Johnny Magz, was sleeping inside.

“The third man kept aggressively asking me, ‘Who’s still home?’ to which I replied, “My partner,” he continued.

“When the captain took his hand from my mouth, I screamed so loud that the neighbors across the street turned on their lights. The men jumped back into their car and sped away.”

“I was in complete shock, I couldn’t breathe and I thought I was having a heart attack, I couldn’t believe what just happened.”

Foster immediately went to the police station “in disbelief hysterical” but claims the officer told him to come back when the station opened at 8am.

The three men were not found and Foster’s ring was never found.

“I was not helped at all and I have completely lost all faith in our justice system,” Foster said.

“While I am upset about the value and material possession of the ring, I resent more the sentimental value that I have now lost and cannot be replaced.”

The incident also caused lasting psychological damage to Foster, who says he now has trouble trusting others.

“I’m scared and constantly concerned when I look over my shoulder. I wouldn’t wish what happened to anyone,” he said.

Foster said he hopes his plight will serve as a warning to others to be more careful when it comes to sharing their exact location on social media.
