The craziest PC cases at Computex 2023

Thermaltake has invited many modders to work on its cases.

Computex in Taipei is THE international trade show for PCs and components of all kinds. It’s just made a comeback after several years of being absent due to Covid-19 and as we strolled the aisles we came across a series of crazy boxes. In fact, many component and case manufacturers invite modders to present bespoke models whose designs, for better or for worse, compete in originality. The machines are all functional and often equipped with very solid Intel Core i9 configurations, liquid cooling in all directions and latest generation graphics cards.

Here’s a small selection of impressive PCs we saw at the show; For some they are true masterpieces of craftsmanship, but not all will agree and we leave it to you to judge the aesthetics of each one.

The Cooler Master PC sneakers we talked about recently, a small device for almost $6,000.

The most gold-plated PC of the show, signed by Lian li.

A real Japanese seppuku style katana.

For fans of the steampunk universe.

An almost classic box, but with water cooling by the liter.

Undoubtedly the best thing about this top, the beer dispenser pc (fully functional, you only have to use one).

Say goodbye to tempered glass, this has been replaced by a screen that transmits animations in real time!

For everyone who likes PCs and big cars (Maxime Noël, hide no more!)

And let’s not forget our biker friends or the aforementioned journalist.

A moving tower straight out of a manga.

And waiting for next year, a small town with an unmissable sushi place on the top floor
