Channel 10’s new reality show The Real Love Boat got off to a rocky start, with some viewers convinced the ending was spoiled after just one episode.

Single parents Jay Bonnell and Sally Geach hit it off at the dating show’s season premiere on Wednesday night.

But eagle-eyed fans have found out the couple is still together after noticing they were sharing photos on Instagram from the same spots in Bali.

The Real Love Boat sees singles on the high seas hoping to find romance.

At the premiere, Jay chose Sally to stay on the boat with him, and the wedding dress designer declared, “I like Jay.”

“It’s early days but I can’t wait to get to know him more and more,” she added.

And it seems the couple, who both have four-year-old daughters, certainly met and posted some pretty obvious displays of affection online.

Jay’s father, Mark Bonnell, commented on one of Sally’s Instagram posts: “You would make a beautiful daughter-in-law. I just said.’

Sally replied, “Stop it hehe,” followed by heart emojis.

Jay also flirted in the comments section, writing, “You are [a] beautiful girl. I can’t understand why you would only want to give it a 9.9 out of 10.

“Surely you could get a 10. I love you girl.”

Meanwhile, viewers on Twitter have slammed the contestants for “maximum performance stupidity,” with some saying the show is a sinking ship.

It was even dubbed the “Bogan Titanic,” and one reviewer tweeted, “After ten minutes I see an iceberg. Disgusting.’

One viewer wrote: “More fake plastic people falling in love with themselves!” Another added: “Why am I watching this shit?”

The Real Love Boat, based on the 1970s dramedy The Love Boat, also fared poorly in the ratings, with just 278,000 viewers tuning in on Wednesday night.

With viewership this terrible, it’s likely that the show will be canceled early, pushed to a later timeslot, or moved to the streaming platform 10 Play.

The series marks the return of former Below Deck Mediterranean star Hannah Ferrier to reality television as the show’s cruise director, while Daniel Doody, reporter from Studio 10, is head of entertainment.
