The resurgence of Covid 19 increases again hospitalized in France

Paris, December 6 (Prensa Latina) The ninth wave of Covid-19 is responsible for the hospitalization of more than 20,000 people in France today, a threshold not exceeded since October 20.

According to the French health authority, 20,393 have been hospitalized due to a new outbreak of the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 1,114 in intensive care.

Covid-19 is re-igniting hospital tensions in the country, a scenario that has been ongoing since late November after the indicator had been improving for weeks after the eighth wave that arrived in early autumn subsided.

The incidence is also increasing every day, with 568 infections per 100,000 inhabitants, more than twice as much as a month ago.

Given the worsening of the epidemiological situation, the call from the authorities to resume the use of the mask indoors or with a large public is gaining strength, even the possibility of making it compulsory again is being discussed.

If the increase in cases continues, my arm will not tremble at the decision, even under any circumstances, French Health Minister François Braun said last week.
