Drunk Travis Kelce had to be stopped on stage by his Chiefs teammates at the Super Bowl parade in Kansas City.
Kelce, who helped the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas on Sunday, attempted to lead a drunken rendition of Garth Brooks' 1990 country hit “Friends In Low Places” after he performed in front of thousands of adoring fans the microphone was handed.
At the start of the song, he changed one of Brooks' lyrics to take a swipe at San Francisco, singing, “Blame it all on my roots, I showed up in boots, and ruined the Niners' Affair.”
But after a day of partying in Kansas City, the celebrations seemed to take their toll on Kelce, as he struggled to get his words out and finish the rest of the song.
The likes of Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones even had to intervene and stop him from falling over before finally taking the microphone from their dazed teammate.
