Ukrainian army retakes Lyman city

The town of Lyman in eastern Ukraine was recaptured by Ukrainian soldiers. The Russian army withdrew from the city. It is believed that the Russian president himself ordered the withdrawal.

Lyman is located in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine. The Donetsk region is one of four regions that Russian President Vladimir Putin declared as Russian territory last Friday. Taking over the 4 Ukrainian regions is not allowed by international law.
