A gunman violently entered the Colorado Supreme Court headquarters in Denver, where he opened fire and caused significant damage before being arrested, local police said Tuesday, Jan. 2.

The events took place on the night of Monday to Tuesday. The man, whose identity has not been released, was involved in a car accident in which he pointed his gun at another driver. He then shot from a window of the Supreme Court building and then threatened an unarmed security guard.
