Very true, from today the time change: then it starts

The appointment with the most famous pink magazine of Italian television, which has been fixed for years, is changing its schedule (for the time being). If you tune into Canale 5 every Saturday afternoon to follow Verissimo, you’ll know it starting today, Saturday 3 December 2022the program directed by Silvia Toffanin is expected to be broadcast (but only for Saturdays: Sundays remain at 16:00).

If the Saturday appointment is usually around 4:10 p.m., from today you can follow Toffanin’s personal interviews with the various protagonists of Italian current affairs at 2:10 p.m. The program lasts the usual two hours and ends at 4 p.m. The line will then move on to an episode of Terra Amara which would have its slot on Saturdays at 2.10pm and then to a film. In summary: First Verissimo, then Terra Amara, then a film.

But why this timetable change? Although from Mediaset No official communication has been received on the matter, the decision to bring Verissimo forward by a few hours could be linked to entry into the World Cup that is taking place in Qatar in the hottest phase of the tournament, namely that of the knockout games.

As of today, in fact, the round of 16: At 16:00 Raiuno broadcasts Netherlands-USA, followed by Argentina-Australia at 20:00. Races that should attract an ever larger audience and that have pushed Mediaset to preserve verissimo without interrupting it but simply anticipating it.

The same reasoning applies next Saturday, December 10thwhen will there be i quarter finals and Verissimo will re-air at 14:00 (always followed by an episode of Terra Amara and a movie) how it could happen – there is no confirmation yet – on 17.12when it airs at 4:00 p.m the final for third and fourth place. Things should then return to their place, and Verissimo should resume its usual schedule, as should Terra Amara return to the longer appointment.
