War in Ukraine: Understand all about the Russian strategy of encircling Bakhmout

CARDS – The Wagner militia demanded the capture of a village north of the city of Donbass. A fortress that would allow him to surround the city from the north.

The Russian army, and particularly Wagner’s auxiliaries, continue to orbit Bakhmout, a town in Donbass in eastern Ukraine that had a pre-war population of 70,000. Evguéni Prigojine, leader of the Russian paramilitary group, on Sunday called for the capture of Krasna Hora, a village north of Bakhmout (population 600 before the war).
