WATCH: Stephen Curry makes a basket from very, very long distance

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry was in top form on Wednesday evening. Before scoring 41 points in a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, he made a notable basket in warmups.

At 35 years old, the loner remains one of the best players in the NBA. His precision with his throws established his reputation and he lived up to expectations by winning four championships for his lifelong team.

However, scoring nearly 30 points per game isn't enough for Curry. About forty minutes before the game at Chase Center, the veteran stood in the hallway leading to the locker room and tossed his ball into the basket on the opposite side of the court.

It had to be seen to be believed, but the spoon-thrown ball curved to shake the strings. Hardly surprised, Curry did a few dance steps in celebration, to the delight of the fans who only had eyes for him.

However, the party was spoiled by the Clippers, who won 130 to 125. The Warriors had their best moments in a more difficult season with five straight wins.
