On the weekend in mid-November the temperatures drop and the rain leaves a little more room for the sun. Vintage market
On Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th November the vintage market returns to Piazza Ragusa. More than 200 exhibitors from all over Italy will gather at Via Tuscolana 179. Additionally, you will find an endless amount of vinyl records as well as vintage clothing and accessories. The cat exhibition
“Because I know myself and you are not… a cat!” is the motto of the SuperCat Show 2023, the international cat exhibition in its 25th edition dedicated entirely to cats. It will take place on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th November at Nuova Fiera di Roma. It will be two days full of vanity parades, exhibitions, heart adoptions, meow market, interactive games, shows for adults and children. Giorgia’s concert
After the success of the song “Parole dette male”, with which she returned to Sanremo 22 years later, Giorgia began her long tour of theaters and sports halls throughout Italy in 2023. The Zero Assoluto concert
After Giorgia again at the Palazzo dello Sport, but on Sunday November 12th there will be Zero Assoluto. The artisan chocolate fair
The artisan chocolate fair takes place in Tivoli from November 9th to 12th. Between churches, palaces, villas and archaeological sites, next weekend it will be possible to get closer to the sweet world of Choco Italia. Millennium Circus
Circus Millennium returns to Rome with a new show called “Mundial”. Eco and chic market
In San Lorenzo, the focus at the weekend is on high-quality crafts: like every second Sunday of the month, the Eco & Chic Market takes place in Piazza dell’Immacolata, directly in front of the church, a project that was launched in January 2022 by the cultural association EticArte. There are always around forty selected stalls on the large and spacious square, with mostly handicrafts, but also washed and disinfected vintage items, natural products, delicacies, natural cosmetics, children’s books and rare objects. The Anima Verde market arrives at the Città dell’Altra Economia, the fixed Sunday appointment in the heart of the Ex-Mattatoio square, with free entry. Chestnut cake in November in Anzio
From November 10th to 12th, the “November Chestnut Festival” will take place again in Anzio. An event that is now in its 20th year and will take place at the Campo dell’Oratorio ss. Pio and Antonio in the historic center of Anzio. Roasted chestnuts, new wine and tasting of typical dishes of the local seafood tradition and typical desserts, the proceeds of which will be used for charity in collaboration with the local Caritas. Polenta festival
The XIII. Polenta Festival will take place in Nerola on Saturday and Sunday, November 11th and 12th. The menu includes polenta seasoned with pork sauce and homemade sausage, as well as delicious bruschetta with new EVO Dop nerola oil and tomatoes. Last but not least, a glass of local wine. The polenta is served in the traditional wooden “Scifetta”, a souvenir to take home with you. Vegetarian versions of the dishes on the menu are also available. Rola Festival…Cuckold Festival
In Rocca Canterano there is the craziest party ever on Saturday and Sunday: “La Sagra della Rola-Festa del Cornuto”. Traditionally, there will be a burlesque parade through the streets of the city on Saturday and Sunday. At the stalls you can taste: beans with rinds, sausage and chicory sandwiches, cecamariti (typical local pasta), role (roasted chestnuts), sheep kebabs, fried potatoes with cheese and pepper and lots of wine.
