That’s what makes every tshirt unique,” comments stylist Priscilla Quaresma.
According to the specialist, the regatta, which was once considered only an addition to the look, amplifies the power of street fashion. “That street style influence is still very strong. The tailoring lost a little bit of strength, it was very massive. And the white tshirt gave that striped look,” he says.

With this democratic aura, the “essential” shirt carries the looks of celebrities such as Bruna Marquezine, Sasha Meneghel, Dua Lipa, Hailey Bieber and Luisa Sonza, among others. “There are models with thinner straps, with a slightly squarer neckline, ribbed fabrics and smoother ones,” Priscilla points out.

Last week, Kate Moss, 48, walked the runway for Bottega Veneta in a plaid coat and white Tshirt tucked into her jeans. “The regatta was a hit throughout the 1990s and 2000s, an aesthetic that has come through strongly in recent seasons. This look was heavily influenced by that decade,” says the stylist.

According to the stylist, the tank top can be worn on any occasion, but requires more production depending on the need: “In this case, I would complement the look with a piece with a more noble fabric, for example, tailored pants, with more shine, silk, satin , leather. All of this already points to a more modern style.”
Another option is to invest in textures, especially on an evening date. “I find it interesting to wear sequin pants with a white tshirt. It looks chic, casual, stylish and unpretentious,” says Priscilla, who also recommends wearing accessories and jewelry with the blouse to elevate the look.
