Senior representatives from politics, business and civil society will meet on Monday at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. A total of 2,800 participants are expected at the five-day conference in the Swiss Alpine resort, including more than 60 heads of state and government. The agenda is dominated by the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine, which has lasted almost two years, and the war between Israel and the radical Islamist Hamas, which has lasted 100 days.

In addition to current wars, the climate crisis, the rising cost of living and the challenges posed by artificial intelligence (AI) will also be topics of the consultations, which will have the motto “Restoring trust”. As every year, protests will also accompany the meeting.
