Among the shoes at the Venice Film Festival 2023, Isabelle Huppert’s platform shoes stand out
An icy look, like his eyes. But Isabelle Huppert on the red carpet at the 2023 Venice Film Festival, the shoes particularly impressed us. In fact, today, September 2, the French actress is a guest in the film Maestro, Bradley Cooper’s second work as a director, after being the protagonist of the film Sidonie Au Japon by Elise Girard last night. And for the occasion he chose Balenciaga.

After the look with “fake” bare feet for the Cannes Film Festival 2023 and a long black lace dress from Balenciaga (subsequently worn for the Fall/Winter 2023/2024 advertising campaign), Isabelle Huppert surprised with a different outfit: a long, silver sequin dress that like Ice stalactites look (from the Resort 2024 collection) and a pair of unexpectedly exaggerated platforms.
These are a pair of black ankle boots with maxi platform and very high square heel that Isabelle brought with elegance (and lightness) to the Italian event: a perfect solution that allowed her to keep the hem of the perfect dress long and falling until it touches the red carpet.
So, after creating the red carpet look for Alba Rohrwacher in Dior, stylist Jonathan Huguet had fun with Isabelle Huppert and surprised everyone: Yes, because these are the most extreme shoes of the 2023 Venice Film Festival seen so far. And we like them. Even a lot.
