Young man discovers basement of 19thcentury relics in new home in US; videos

After moving from his home in Stafford, USA, a young man made a discovery that surprised him. Below the room was a “secret cellar” with relics from the 19th century.

The case became famous when young Luca Hillier shared a series of videos on TikTok showing his new home. In one, Hillier and a friend found a hole in the living room floor. The couple decided to remove the wooden planks to find out what was in this room.

When they managed to go downstairs, they discovered an abandoned basement containing dozens of glass bottles of alcoholic beverages with old labels signaling they were whiskey and brandy. The site has been somewhat destroyed and although it still “stands” it does not seem to have survived. Watch the following videos:

In the midst of so many bottles, a container from 1880 caught the young man’s attention. It was named after Francis Clarke, the former mayor of Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. According to the young man, the contents of the container appeared to be a mixture of blood.

Hillier’s friend smelled one of the liquids and felt sick afterwards due to the strong odor of the product. In addition to the mysterious drinks and liquids, they also discovered some boots in the abandoned basement.

“I was worried you would find a skeleton with the shoes on,” commented one netizen. “Please check there are no human remains lying around,” said another. “That’s pretty amazing. I would like to find something like that. Search every little piece of paper and find something awesome, enjoy,” commented a third.

Some users said the bottles they found could cost around BRL 1,000 if they were put up for sale online.
