About the role:
Always Together (TE), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping young people ages 6-17 reach their full potential, is seeking a Youth Worker to join our passionate and dynamic team.
In this role, you will be part of the Parcours team, a leisure intervention program for young people aged 9 to 17. Under the supervision of the program coordinator, you will provide the young people of Verdun with an active and warm living environment in which they can socialize and develop their creativity, their autonomy and their sense of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome young people and their parents.
• Plan, prepare and lead activities that promote discovery, intellectual curiosity, team spirit, perseverance and self-transcendence.
• Ensuring monitoring of activities and interventions.
• Encourage and promote the participation of young people in the activities of the organization.
• Carrying out the projects proposed to the young people.
Job Requirements:
• DEC related to employment (entertainment, leisure, intervention or related areas) or other relevant training.
• Relevant work experience with young people aged 9 to 17.
• Group facilitation skills.
• Social and creative skills, good team spirit.
• Very good organization, strong autonomy and adherence to deadlines.
• Good knowledge of French and MS Office.

Conditions of employment:
• Full-time, permanent position, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Location: 4926, rue de Verdun, in Verdun.
• Hourly rate based on current pay scale
