Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called for unity among all Ukrainians and called on his compatriots to believe in their country. “Belief in Ukraine means knowing that Ukraine and Ukrainians can maintain their independence, will maintain it and regain it,” he said today. “We have to protect Ukraine, and we will do so – I have no doubts about that.”
However, Ukrainians would have to unite to achieve this. “But, just like after February 24, 2022 (the start of the Russian war of aggression), this can only happen together – and only together, in unity, with concern for the State, for the people who are at your side, by Ukrainians, wherever they are.” The most important thing is to preserve the unity of the people.
“Every week Ukraine must grow stronger, this is a must,” Zelensky said, referring to new fighting in the coming months. “And this is a common task for everyone in the country.”
