Zoe Kravitz slams Will Smith for beating Chris Rock at the Oscars

Zoë Kravitz shared her thoughts on Will Smith’s slap in the face, which was seen in dueling Instagram posts around the world on Tuesday.

The 33-year-old ‘The Batman’ star called out the Oscars in her caption, in which she said: “We seem to be attacking people on stage now.”

The actress – who avoided mentioning either Smith or his target Chris Rock by name – was present at Sunday’s shocking show.

Zoë’s post initially looked like it was a fairly standard way for her to show off her gorgeous pale pink off-the-shoulder Saint Laurent gown, which featured a large bow in front of one shoulder, but she made her point in her caption.

“Here’s a picture of my dress on the show we seem to be attacking people on stage now,” she wrote matter-of-factly.

To ensure there was no confusion about her destination, she was quickly followed by a second post, showing her stunning side profile in a backless white Saint Laurent gown that hugged her curves and featured a high neckline.

“And here’s a picture of my dress at the party after the awards show — where it seems we’re now yelling obscenities and attacking people on stage,” she added in her second caption.

It’s unclear if Zoë was actually in the audience at the moment Smith slapped Rock, given the throng of spectators throughout the evening.

However, she found herself in even closer contact with the King Richard star when she attended the Vanity Fair Oscars party later that night.

Instead of looking contrite, Smith seemed to be having the time of his life as he danced with his family and famous friends while waving his new Oscar.

He was so carefree that he reportedly sang along to his 1998 hit “Getting Jiggy Wit It.”

After his slap in the face at the Oscars, Smith won the best actor award for King Richard. In his rambling, tearful acceptance speech, he spoke about defending his family and apologized to the Academy and his fellow candidates, but not to Rock.

On Monday, he shared an apology statement with Instagram that included the comedian.

“Violence in all its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at the Oscars last night was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s health was too much for me and I reacted emotionally,” he wrote.

“I want to apologize to you publicly, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I’m embarrassed and my actions were no indication of the man I want to be. In a world of love and kindness there is no place for violence.’

Zoë’s former stepfather Jason Momoa, who has split from her mother Lisa Bonet, was at the Oscars to represent his film Dune and join his co-star Josh Brolin as presenter.

He had a front row look at Smith’s slap and also addressed her while chatting to people, although he was far more suggestive.

“I was pretty shocked,” he said at the Vanity Fair party. ‘I do not know. You just never know where people are, you know? There’s a turning point for everyone, right? I had my seats.

“He can ask for forgiveness. Sometimes you’re just sensitive. We are all sensitive. I don’t walk in his shoes [but] I’ve definitely been in places like that,” he said.
