Egídio (Vladimir Brichta) has been obsessed with Joana (Alice Carvalho) ever since he decided to house Tião (Irandhir Santos) and his family on his farm in Renascer. Egídio pretends to be a good boss and invites Tião to talk to him in the supermarket to find out more about Joana. The broadcast of the sequence is scheduled for this Wednesday the 28th. He offers alcoholic drinks to the clerk, who is not used to alcohol, and starts asking about Tião's past and his married life. To avoid being offended, he accepts the offer and ends up saying more than he should.

During the conversation, Tião makes a confession that leaves Egídio surprised and tense at the same time. Shortly afterwards, Joana sees her panties on the clothesline again and is curious. When Tião comes home, the woman soon realizes that her husband is drunk. After reprimanding Tião, Joana questions the boss's goodwill, but her husband refuses to listen and defends Egídio.

Meanwhile, at the Jequitibá Rei farm, João Pedro (Juan Paiva) is determined to leave the farm and asks his father to settle his scores. José Inocêncio (Marcos Palmeira) does not accept his son's decision and Mariana (Theresa Fonseca) explains that her husband is not fair to the boy who has always felt insulted. She also warns João not to leave the farm and follows him to Morena's (Ana Cecília Costa) house. Deocleciano's wife (Jackson Antunes) takes the opportunity and throws in Mariana's face that she is the main responsible for the conflict between João Pedro and his father.
