Singer Gretchen’s former husband, Portuguese businessman Carlos Marques, died this Friday (12).
What happened?
Carlos Marques, who was married to Gretchen for seven years, has died. The place of death and the cause of death were not disclosed.
The information was released by Jenny Miranda, daughter of Gretchen’s family, in a post on Instagram.
“He had me for a daughter. He was married to my exmother [assim ela cita Gretchen]”And everyone knows the affection and respect we had for him and he for my family,” she tearfully told Instagram Stories.
“You were the father I never had to myself. Anyway I will never forget everything you taught me and all the moments my kids and I shared with you! One day we will meet. Now you’re with the good guys.” Watch out for us up there,” he added.
Last January, the program A Tarde É Sua (RedeTV) reported that Carlos Marques even went to São Paulo to be treated for leukemia.
Carlos and Gretchen announced the end of their marriage in 2020 after seven years of love. They took part in the reality show Power Couple Brasil (RecordTV) and starred in the show Os Gretchens (Multishow).
So far, Gretchen has not commented on the death of her former partner.
