Inside Elizabeth Debicki's very private relationship with mystery man Kristian Rasmussen – it turns out he sneaks into awards shows to support her

Elizabeth Debicki is no stranger to the spotlight, having won numerous awards for her portrayal of Princess Diana in the Netflix series The Crown.

But despite often turning heads on the red carpet, the 33-year-old Hollywood star has managed to keep her love life incredibly private.

Little is known about her mystery man Kristian Rasmussen, with whom she was first spotted holding hands in London by Chron Australia in November 2022.

But while the award-winning actress keeps her love out of the spotlight by walking red carpets alone, Kristian doesn't seem to be afraid to sneak into prestigious events to support her.

Elizabeth's rarely seen boyfriend – who bears a strange resemblance to The Crown's former Prince Phillip, Matt Smith – reportedly sneaks into awards shows to cheer her on from the crowd.

To avoid cameras and reporters, he remains unnoticed while his glamorous girlfriend poses on the red carpet and takes the stage to accept her awards.

The happy couple were last spotted in February last year, strolling through the streets of London shortly after attending the SAG Awards together.

While Elizabeth walked the red carpet as usual, she hinted that Kristian was in the crowd during her acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actress.

'Thank you. Thank you to the creatives of this show for entrusting me with this role, to our cast and crew, to my beautiful role children, to my mother and father, and to Kush and Tommy who are in Australia and hope they are wearing their pajamas “I’ll take a look at this,” she began.

“My partner Kristian said, ‘Don’t thank me so I’m not on TV, but I’ll thank you anyway.’ Who else? My goodness, maybe that's it… that's just amazing to me!'

Just a few months earlier, Elizabeth was accompanied by her own prince when she celebrated the launch of the fifth season of the Netflix drama “The Crown” in November 2022.

Weeks after they were first spotted together, the talented star was spotted leaving the red carpet premiere with Kristian at London's Theater Royal Drury Lane.

The couple made their first red carpet appearance and their second in as many days, having stepped out hand in hand just the day before.

Wearing an elegant black evening dress, Elizabeth climbed into the backseat of a waiting taxi with her boyfriend after attending an after-show party.

Kristian looked appropriately dapper in his black tuxedo and matching shirt as he followed her into the backseat.

The day before, they were hand in hand during a shopping trip in London. Elizabeth laughed with her new friend as they enjoyed a hug and a kiss.

In February last year, the lovebirds looked cozy as they once again entered London and took a romantic stroll wrapped up against the cold.

Although Elizabeth rose to prominence in Hollywood thanks to her starring role in The Crown, which earned her Astra, Critics Choice and Golden Globe awards, she has successfully kept her love life with Kristian a secret.

In 2018, the rising star, who first burst onto the scene in 2014 with her award-winning role in The Great Gatsby, told Vogue Australia about her desire to remain private.

“I have always been a private person. “I feel like what I want to have in the world is my work, and I've always believed – and this is the way I approach my work – that me and the work are separate “, she said.

“I think with social media people can blur it out so nicely and I respect that, but that's not really who I am and I just want the work to speak and people to absorb it the way they want without that something is affecting them.”

She concluded, “I just want people to know me for my work.”
