Shirtless Conor McGregor shows off his grisly injuries after revealing he was hit by a car while cycling
Conor McGregor has revealed his injuries after he was hit by a car on his bike on Friday.
The 44-year-old MMA fighter took to Instagram to show fans the large gruesome cut he suffered to his butt as a result of the incident.
Conor, who appears lucky to only get away with the cut, was involved in the incident along a leafy country lane believed to be in Ireland.

Posting footage of the immediate aftermath to his Instagram page, he said: “I could have been dead,” as an incredibly apologetic man told McGregor how sorry he was.
His crumpled turquoise racing bike could be seen on the ground, with a gray car a few yards in front of him.
The MMA fighter, who goes by the moniker The Notorious, said he was hit from behind while riding his bike down the street.
During filming following the accident, the masterful Irish mixed martial artist, who is set to train on The Ultimate Fighter show, looked breathless and shaken.

At one point, the video shows McGregor’s torn cycling shorts and what appears to be a wound on his thigh.
The man who appeared to be in the car can be heard apologizing to McGregor after pulling over to the curb a few yards in front of him.
McGregor says: “All right, mate, all right. Don’t worry.’
He adds, “I could have been dead,” but he tells the man, “Happy birthday, mate.”
“I’m so sorry – seriously,” says the other man.

The MMA champion wrote on his Instagram page: “Just got slammed from behind by a car. A sun trap, the driver couldn’t see me.
“Full speed through me. Thank god it wasn’t my time.
“Thank you also wrestling and judo. Having awareness on landing saved my life.’
The champion fighter asked the man for a ride home as his little blue bike was lying in the middle of the country road.

McGregor continued to film from the passenger seat of the man’s car, who introduced himself as Nick.
The shocked Irishman points his camera in the trunk to show his battered bike after the collision.
“I’m still here, thank God. That’s all that matters,” says McGregor.
